Cholla wood is great for biofilm growth and helps to provide a spot for baby shrimp to hide and feed!
You can attach moss to it or place it in the tank by itself.
What you get: 1x piece of Cholla Wood
DISCLAIMER: All cholla wood should be boiled and rinsed thoroughly before adding to an aquarium. I like to boil mine for a few hours and then add to a bucket with an air stone for a couple week.
Sometimes you may notice bubbles on the service of the water, this is the proteins and plant matter of the original cactus breaking down. This is why it’s important to soak thoroughly. I’ve lost tanks of shrimp from not aging the wood long enough.
